Because the SVRA On-Line Entry Form contains payment information, for your protection, we utilize an Internet security technology called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to encrypt the On-Line Entry Form information.
Web sites that utilize SSL must provide a security certificate to your browser that is issued by a "Certificate Authority". Your browser, by default, is setup to accept security certificates from only a small number of Certificate Authorities.
SVRA utilizes a SSL security certificate provided by COMODO. You can confirm you are on a secure web page by looking at the URL at the top of the page, it will begin with "https: . . ".
