SVRA Historic Indy Car Exhibition as part of MAVTV 500 IndyCar race, June 26-27 at Auto Club Speedway

A spectacular gathering of Historic Indy Cars will be on display and on track during the MAVTV 500 IndyCar Race, June 26-27 at Auto Club Speedway. The SVRA Historic Indy Car Exhibition is presented by Victory Lane Magazine and the Historic Champ/Indy Car Association.

Historic Indy and Championship Cars from all eras are invited to run exhibition laps as part of the IndyCar race weekend. There will be five historic on-track sessions spread over two days in front of IndyCar fans, teams and officials on Southern California’s only super speedway. Not only will the The Historic Indy grid run exhibitions laps in these amazing racing machines, they will also be displaying the incredible history, diverse technology, and the evolution of Indy cars, this providing a unique and special glimpse of racing history. Fans have enjoyed the historic Indy cars on track at Auto Club every year since first appearing at the speedway’s opening in 1997.

The Historic Indy cars will run on track three times on Friday and twice more on Saturday morning. Each entrant will receive four paddock weekend credentials and two parking passes.The Indy cars will be displayed in the garages in the IndyCar paddock. Special RV parking and travel trailer parking has been reserved. Lunch and parties are also a part of this weekend, which more details soon to be announced. Due to the space limitations, no pushcars are being accepted.
