2016 Hagerty Show & Shine at Amelia Island

Salute America’s great airport auto-racing heritage. You are invited to be a part of the Inaugural SVRA 2016 Amelia Island Vintage Gran Prix at the historic Fernandina Beach Airport. This FAA approved two day event includes vintage racing on a 2.1-mile airport road course, vintage airplane flyovers, the Hagerty Show & Shine, vintage motorcycle show and more. From 1963 thru 1971 Fernandina Beach Airport hosted road racing on its runways. Some of the participants went on to become legends and champions in the sport. SVRA honors that Fernandina’s racing legacy.
The 2-day car show will be held on the golf course that borders the airport race track. The show is open to all classic, vintage, exotic, and performance cars, vintage motorcycle and car clubs. Car Show registration includes:
– 2 Weekend Passes (2-day)
– A Saturday “Last Lap” driving tour in your show car of the Amelia Island Gran Prix race track. (subject to track conditions)
– Saturday Evening Concert
– Guided Paddock Tour
– Saturday Evening Fireworks
– Gift bag including Event Poster and Program and more

Display Car Guidelines: The car show will take place at the Amelia Island Gran Prix shine or rain on Saturday and Sunday, March 19-20, 2016. Registrations are non-refundable. Show Cars may not display for-sale signs, advertisements, displays or illustrations without the prior written consent/authorization of the Registrar.
