2016 Vintage Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio
This will be the 34th consecutive year that SVRA visits historic Mid-Ohio. Over 250 competitors are expected to participate in this Grand Prix weekend. SVRA is pleased to host the 41st annual Shelby American Automobile Club Convention on this weekend. In addition to the SVRA sprint races, there will be two Hawk Performance Endurance Series events, a Stuttgart Cup series race, and a SAAC feature race on the weekend schedule.
Like all SVRA events, The Vintage Grand Prix at Mid-Ohio is a great family event. Children 12 years old and under are admitted for free. Admission covers entry to all spectator areas, paddock access and parking. Guests can stroll the paddock to see the cars up close and chat with the drivers. Fans and entrants can shop the vendors row offering all types of racing clothing, photos and memorabilia.
The Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course has hosted every major amateur and professional race series in the United States. Mid-Ohio’s parklike setting and challenging, 2.4-mile,15-turn configuration make it a favorite with both fans and competitors.
