2017 Southern California Historic Sports Car Festival
A spectacular gathering of vintage race cars will create a show during the 16th annual Southern California Historic Sports Car Festival at the Auto Club Speedway. The challenging 21 turn, 2.8 mile sports car track configuration will be utilized.
Three full days racing will be available to competitors in all SVRA race groups. The Trans Am legacy returns to its Los Angeles roots. This event will host the second race of the Trans Am West Coast Championship.
New this year is the Mazda Miata Heritage Cup, this race, the first of the five race series will have its own distinct race and race group made up of first generation 1.6-liter spec Miatas of 1990 to 1993 vintage. This new race class offers a new “entry point” to vintage racing.
Friday is an open test day and SVRA offers an optional Driver Orientation/Track Orientation Program (TOP/DOP) for drivers who have not previously competed at this track. Saturday evening will feature a party for drivers and crew. Spectator tickets can be purchased at the gate.The paddock and garage areas are open to all attendees and the public.
