Make sure you have your Licenses, I.D. and any other documents that you need to submit. VMC Infraction List:
A driver’s appearance on the Vintage Motorsports Council Infraction List and/or a history of driver issues, probation or suspension may negate entry for this event. The Race Director and the Event Committee will make this determination if warranted.

SVRA Rules Compliance for Car Type, Group and Class:
This event is operated under SVRA Vintage Rules. It is the responsibility of the entrant to understand and comply with all of the relevant rules of SVRA. This is especially important regarding Fuel Cell requirements, Competition Bulletins, Technical Bulletins, Safety Requirements and, in particular, Tire Regulations for your particular Race Group. Race Car Compliance Forms, Engine Certification Forms, and Car Photos must be submitted to (rick@svra) no later than September 1st. Car compliance issues must be addressed prior to the event with the SVRA Technical Director, Rick Parent (rick@svra.com).

Head and Neck Restraints:
These systems are mandatory for all SVRA events and must meet SFI 38.1 Standards. Please review SVRA Competition Bulletin CB2013-009.

Transponders:
Required for all Road Circuit entrants. No transponder means no times and no scoring. Please make sure your car is equipped with a transponder, the number has been submitted with your entry and is recorded in an accessible location and available during Tech Inspections. A limited number of rental units are available. Please contact Janet Harhay (jharhay@aol.com) no later than September 1st if a rental is needed.

Schedule:
Listed on the SVRA U.S. Vintage Grand Prix Event page. The order of Run Groups and scheduled times will be updated as needed. SVRA reserves the right to change/modify this schedule without notice. With at least 100 multi-car owner entrants, we have tried to limit the amount of back-to-back sessions that occur. Every effort will be made to keep the Official Schedule as close to the Provisional as possible. Test Day Schedule is also listed on the SVRA U.S. Grand Prix Event page.

Staging of Haulers:
PLAN AHEAD. If you are planning to park with another hauler, rig etc, meet somewhere prior to arriving at the track and come into the staging area together. There will be NO “saving” of paddock spaces.

Registration Office:
SVRA Registration will be located in the WGI Registration Building.

Load-In and Registration Hours:
Load-In and Registration hours will be posted on the Event Schedule. It is planned that Initial Load-In will begin on Wednesday, September 6th, at approximately 7:00am. Registration will be open on Tuesday September 5th from 2pm-5pm, but no track access will be allowed at this time.

Load-In:
We ask that you be considerate of the staff working Staging and Load-In and be patient. All event participants, crew and over-crew must be Credentialed for Load-In to the facility. To accomplish this, go straight across to Registration from the Staging Lot to get Registered. Your place in Load-In is “first come/first in”. You will be met by an SVRA Escort and be guided to paddock, RV or Garage Lot parking.

Paddock Regulations and Information:
Paddock spaces will accommodate ONLY a hauler or trailer plus applicable awning. You will be allowed (1) Car Pass per Entrant. The CAR PASS only identifies you as a participant. All CAR PASS vehicles must be parked in the Car Pass Area and other designated Parking Locations. This includes pickups or any other vehicle that has been separated from its trailer or hauler. Compound-type parking of haulers/trailers/rigs will NOT be permitted. Reproduction of any Car Pass or Vehicle Pass will result in the car being towed at the owner’s expense.

Hauler/Rig Parking:
If you want to park together, come to the track together. There will be no space-saving for another hauler/tow-rig in any manner. Haulers will be parked in a “first come/first-in basis” by the Paddock Marshall who has total authority over this process. Once you disconnect from your trailer, individual cars, pickups, trucks, RV, bus, etc. are not allowed to park in your paddock location. (Does not apply to “Special Needs” passes). Once parked, haulers may not move to another location for any reason. If you may have to leave the event prior to its conclusion, let SVRA parking staff know. You will be given space in a paddock location with easier egress. Paddock spaces will be tight. Please work with each other and the SVRA and Track Staff.

Stakes are not allowed to be driven into the asphalt in the paddock area. Weights must be used to hold down your tents, awnings and canopies. If you don’t have weights, you can contact Chris Cornett (ccornett@theglen.com) for assistance.

Empty-trailer parking:
An area will be designated and marked as the parking area for Car-Pass vehicles.

Mobile Tractor and Truck Wash:
Jeff Griger 607-279-0041

Paddock Access/Drop-offs:
It is understood that there may be a need to bring a “Car Pass” vehicle into the paddock to drop off people/equipment/supplies. Once this is done, the “Car Pass” vehicle must then be immediately parked in the “Car Pass” parking lots. This allowance into the paddock is done as a courtesy and will be revoked if the privilege is abused. Cars, pickups etc. will be towed out of the Paddock Areas if owners refuse the request to park in the proper areas.

Special Needs:
Guests with special needs should come to Registration with their request. Paddock passes will be provided to people with Handicap designations on driver’s licenses or display cards used for everyday parking.

Golf Cars rented from Virginia Golf Cars will include the WGI permit.

Paddock pit speed is 10 mph or idle. Violators will be excluded from the Event.

Paddock Care:
The asphalt may not be punctured by anchors, stake, jack stands, etc. Use weights, water buckets, etc. (Do not use N2 bottles). Some type of trailer tongue rest must be used to prevent sinking into asphalt. Spills, leaks, liquids etc. must be cleaned up properly. Drip pans are suggested under a lot of Vintage cars. WGI staff will monitor the paddocks on a regular basis and you will be charged for any paddock facility damages.
