2020 Brickyard Vintage Racing Invitational, A SpeedTour Event
Brickyard Vintage Racing Invitational is very special. In one jam-packed weekend, almost the entire history of motorsports passes by…at high speed! The fabled Indianapolis Motor Speedway—just purchased by Roger Penske—has hosted the Greatest Spectacle in Racing since 1911. There is no more- revered place in motorsports.
Create your own Indy racing legend on the deceptively fast road course that features complex off-camber turns. In addition to myriad vintage racers, including a Pre-World War I group, our SpeedTour event showcases the contemporary Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli.
Saturday’s feature race will be the Vintage Race of Champions Charity Pro-Am (VROC), pairing veteran Indy, IMSA, Trans-Am, NASCAR and Formula 1 racers with amateur partners driving Corvettes, Camaros and Mustangs in a 50-minute race on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course. This VROC Charity Pro-Am raises funds for the Morgan Adams Foundation.
Special events at Indy include the Shelby American Automobile Club National Convention, during which hundreds of Carroll Shelby’s greatest creations will fill the paddock. The Hagerty Cars & Caffeine car show will draw hundreds of street and performance cars.
Please join us for an incredible weekend at Indy, fabulous home of The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.
