2020 Road Atlanta Grand Prix, A SpeedTour Event
Road Atlanta’s unique combination of fast sweeping corners, quick esses, off-camber turns, elevation changes and high-speed straights makes it perfect for every variety of vintage racer. Bring your vintage race car and add to the tall tales! All SVRA race groups are invited. MG Vintage Racers (MGVR) has selected this weekend for their 2020 MG Focus Event. An exciting array of MGs will add to the memories.
Over the years, Road Atlanta has played a significant role in the Can-Am, Trans-Am, Camel GT and Petit Le Mans—always rewarding cars blessed with both power and grip. Contemporary Trans Am presented by Pirelli, Miata Heritage Cup and International GT take advantage of those rewards.
After last year’s success, the Vintage Race Of Champions Charity Pro-Am Series (VROC) will return. VROC races pair veteran Indy, IMSA, Trans-Am, NASCAR and Formula 1 racers with amateur partners driving Corvettes, Camaros and Mustangs. The Atlanta VROC Charity Pro-Am benefits Hope For The Warriors; a national non-profit organization that provides assistance to post 9/11 combat-wounded service members, their families and the families of those killed in action.
