Lime Rock Park has been in continuous operation since 1957, and is virtually unchanged. More than almost any other race track in the world, it is both historic and authentic. The track has hosted many of America’s premier series, including Trans-Am, Formula 5000, IMSA GTP, Kelly American Challenge, NASCAR, USAC and some of the earliest and finest vintage events in America.
At just 1.5-miles, Lime Rock is a challenging “momentum” course with short straights, complex corners and exciting elevation changes. Lime Rock’s moniker “Traditions, Beauty and Speed” is celebrated on the track every day but Sunday, thanks to a 1959 court injunction banned Sunday racing.
Join SVRA for a traditional Memorial Day weekend of vintage road racing at what AutoWeek Editor Leon Mandel once called “A holiday picnic in a park with racing.” A Mazda Miata Heritage Cup Series race has been added to the schedule.
