Endurance Series
Endurance Racing became the key to sportscar racing success in 1923 with the first running of the 24 Hours of LeMans. Proving the abilities and durability of car and driver, winning endurance races became the ultimate goal for any manufacturer or racer. Today, many of the original participants in the great endurance races of the 50’s through the 90’s can still be seen at an SVRA Vintage and Historic Event in the Hawk Performance Enduro Series races. Even though these cars no longer do a 24 Hour race, fans enjoy watching these great cars and their skillful Vintage drivers, duel each other for races of one, two or sometimes 3 hours in length. The Hawk Performance Enduro Series races feature the hallmark of sportscar racing—multi class competition mixed with cunning strategy.
