NOLA MOTORSPORTS PARK HOSTS NOLA SPEEDTOUR FEATURING TRANS AM MARCH 10-12

Family-Friendly Weekend Festivities Include Professional Racing, Crawfish Cook-Off, Car Show, and More!

The newly renovated NOLA Motorsports Park welcomes back the NOLA SpeedTour, featuring Trans Am March 10-12. During race weekend, visitors from across Louisiana are invited to experience the NOLA SpeedToura three-day affair of professional racing, local Cajun eats, and hot cars.

The family-friendly event will give car enthusiasts, both young and young at heart, the chance to see five professional race car series take on NOLA Motorsports Park’s recently repaved 2.75-mile FIA grade 2 road course, including the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli, Formula 4 U.S. Championship Powered by Honda, Formula Regional Americas Powered by Honda, Sportscar Vintage Racing Association’s (SVRA) Formula Vee class and Radical Cup North America.

New this year is OPTIMA’s Search for the Ultimate Street Car series, presented by Advance Auto Parts. The series travels the country each year in search of the very best all-around street-legal cars and trucks. Top contenders receive invitations to display their vehicles at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas and compete in the OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational. To learn more about how the public can compete with their own street car, visit www.DriveOPTIMA.com.

In addition to the spectacle of speed and sound, fans should come hungry to enjoy crawfish during the second annual Cars & Crawfish Cook-Off! On Sunday, March 11 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m, competitors ranging from local businesses to the general public will be cooking their own recipes for the chance to win nearly $2,000 in cash prizes.

On Saturday, March 10 the park will also welcome guests to the Hagerty Cars & Caffeine Car Show where car aficionados can register their classic, vintage, exotic, or collectible car or motorcycle, or simply stroll around and take in the beautiful sights and learn more about the variety of motor vehicles.

The NOLA Karting racetrack will also be open and operating if any race fans want a slice of the action.

Tickets start at $10 and are available to purchase online here. For more information about the jam-packed weekend and for tickets visit https://nolamotor.com.
