Trans Am SpeedFest Postponed to 2021

Dear Friends an Fellow Racers,

Late last week, the State of California issued a new Travel Advisory urging no out-of-state travel and recommending a 14-day self-quarantine for anyone entering California.

For the health and safety of our participants and staff, I’ve made the difficult decision to postpone this year’s Trans Am SpeedFest at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca until April 28-May 2, 2021. A credit for the full amount of your entry will be applied to your account to be used at any future SVRA event.

Since the very beginning of the virus pandemic, we’ve closely collaborated with the CDC, state and local public health officials to implement their guidelines and recommendations. We’ve been able to safely hold eight events this year, but the sudden surge in COVID-19 cases—particularly in California—currently makes this impossible.

This latest revision to SVRA’s 2020 events calendar makes this weekend’s Road Atlanta Grand Prix our season Finale.  SVRA’s 2020 points and series championships will be confirmed and announced after the event.

Our whole SVRA team wants to thank all of you for your support and understanding during this very challenging year. We hope that this pandemic will soon be behind us and we’ll keep you updated on our plans for 2021.

If I don’t see you in Atlanta, I will look forward to seeing you all at the track next year!

Best Regards,
