SpeedTour Descends on NOLA Motorsports Park, April 12-14

Racing, Car Show, Food Trucks & Family Fun Headline Three-Day Event

AVONDALE, La. (April 2, 2024) – The NOLA SpeedTour returns to NOLA Motorsports Park, April 12-14, 2024. Headlined by racing from the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli, Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas), Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA) and the Ligier JS F4 Series, the event will have something for everyone, with a huge Hagerty Cars & Caffeine Car Show, a variety of food trucks, yard games, fan walks, autograph sessions and more. Tickets start at just $20 for adults, with kids 12 and under admitted free. Active duty service members, police officers and firefighters will be admitted free with a valid military or work ID. Advanced online ticketing discounts are available exclusively at SpeedTour.net/NOLA.

“We’re thrilled to return to NOLA Motorsports Park for the NOLA SpeedTour,” said Tony Parella, CEO of Parella Motorsports Holdings. “The fans in New Orleans are second to none, and the atmosphere at this event is incredible—everyone will be out roaming around the open paddocks, enjoying great food and collecting autographs as they meet the drivers. It will certainly be a weekend to remember.”

The Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli and CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series will embark on the third round of their 12-race 2024 championship. The longest-running professional road racing series in North America, championship battles in both TA and TA2 are wide open, with no repeat winners in either class to date. Will that continue at The Big Easy, or will the season start to take shape with one driver’s dominance? Only time will tell.

FR Americas and the Ligier JS F4 Series both kick off their 2024 seasons at NOLA. The beginning steps on a North American driver’s road to F1, drivers in FR Americas and the Ligier JS F4 Series will race for both championship titles and key scholarship opportunities to assist in the progression of their careers.

In SVRA, whether a fan’s interest lies in motorsports history or the power of muscle cars, there will be something for everyone.

Fans in attendance can take advantage of SpeedTour’s open paddock, where they can see all the cars up close and personal as crews prepare them for the races. There will be ample opportunity to meet drivers and collect autographs during Trans Am’s pre-race fan walks and the FR Americas and Ligier JS F4 Series autograph session. A variety of food will be available at the food truck corral, and fans can enjoy yard games, wander through the Hagerty Cars & Caffeine car show and relax in the Beer Garden. NOLA’s karting complex will also be open, allowing fans to try their own hand at racing with their arrive-and-drive go-karts. To make the weekend even more special, we’ll be joined by Ayvah Johnson, an 11-year-old New Orleans phenom with 2.2 million likes and over 237,000 followers on social media, to deliver the National Anthem before Saturday’s Trans Am race.
