Fans will be able to watch live racing from marquee SpeedTour events free at SpeedTourTV.com
SOUTHLAKE, Texas (November 30, 2021) – Parella Motorsports Holdings (PMH) announced the development of SpeedTour TV in anticipation of their 2022 race season. After debuting live streaming on the SVRA and Trans Am apps in 2019, the service will move to a new web-based platform for 2022. SpeedTour TV will enable fans to watch live racing from marquee SpeedTour events for free at SpeedTourTV.com, on the SpeedTour TV YouTube Channel, and on the Trans Am and SVRA Facebook pages.
“We’re really excited to debut SpeedTour TV for the 2022 season,” said Tony Parella, CEO of PMH. “We started down a path with live streaming two years ago. Since that time, we’ve gone through a global pandemic, we’ve grown our SpeedTour events with new series and new events, and quite frankly, we’ve just learned a lot about our business model. We’ve added commercials and have gotten the support of our partners, we’ve explored viewing options both on an app and on social media. I think we’ve finally landed on a formula that makes sense for everyone. It will be great coverage and racing content for the fans, it will be easily accessible no matter where or how the viewer wants to watch, and it will be free. I feel like we’re making waves with the SpeedTour brand, and launching SpeedTour TV is just another step. It’s an exciting time to be in motorsports.”
SpeedTour TV will premiere with live coverage from the Sebring SpeedTour, February 26-27, 2022. The platform will provide fans with a variety of racing action from all SpeedTour series, including The Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli, Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA), Formula Regional Americas Championship Powered by Honda, Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda and International GT. A full schedule for SpeedTour TV will be available in the coming weeks.
Fans are encouraged to bookmark SpeedTourTV.com, which will be the new home for live streaming and will also house replays of live events. Additionally, fans can be notified of live streams by subscribing to the SpeedTour TV YouTube page and turning on notifications, or liking @GoTransAm or @SVRAlife on Facebook and turning on notifications for live videos.
