Dear Fellow SVRA Racer,
After much deliberation, I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the Trans Am SpeedTour Classic at Lime Rock Park, scheduled for October 16 & 17, 2020.
The Trans Am SpeedTour Classic, was originally scheduled for May but was postponed to October, prompted by the onset of COVID-19. We’ve worked diligently to address all health and safety requirements but Connecticut’s travel restrictions and quarantine requirements made the event no longer feasible. We plan to return to Lime Rock Park for the Trans Am SpeedTour Classic, Memorial Day weekend, 2021.
We are confident that the four remaining events on our 2020 schedule at VIR, COTA, Rd Atlanta and Laguna, will go off as planned. We appreciate your support and understanding as we navigate through the unforeseen challenges this year has repeatedly presented.
Please take every necessary precaution to ensure the continued good health of your family and yourself. I look forward to seeing you at a race soon.
