SVRA ANNOUNCES THE UNITED STATES VINTAGE RACING NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP AT CIRCUIT OF THE AMERICAS OCTOBER 24-27, 2013
Southlake, TX (February 16, 2013) – After several months of negotiations the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association is pleased to announce that the U.S. Vintage Racing National Championship will be held at The Circuit of the Americas(COTA) in Austin, TX from October 24-27, 2013.
Given the central location and the stature of the COTA facility we anticipate that this event will become the largest Vintage racing event in the United States. In order to assist us in the planning of this event we have developed an on-line pre-registration form that every Vintage racer who is considering participation in this landmark event must complete and submit this form in its entirety..
Before completing the pre-registration form the following points should be considered;
- • Completion and submission of this form is for planning and informational purposes and does not constitute an acceptance or formal invitation to the event. Likewise submission of this informational document will not be considered as a binding entry commitment.
- • Anyone who is currently on the VMC infraction list with a long term suspension, short term suspension or on probation will not be eligible for this event.
- • Given the anticipated turn out for this event we expect that the event will run from Thursday through Sunday. Your travel and lodging plans should take this into consideration.
- • This event, its rules, regulations, event schedule, etc. should be considered “a work in progress” and may be subject to change without notice. It is our intention to “freeze” these details no later than 7/1/2013.
