The Sportscar Vintage Racing Association is pleased to announce that VP Racing Fuels will continue as the Official Racing Fuel of SVRA, for 2014 season. With the agreement, VP will provide trackside fuel service at select SVRA events including the Brickyard Vintage Invitational at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in June and the U.S. Vintage Racing National Championship at Circuit of the Americas in October.
“We’re pleased to have the opportunity to build on what we started last year with the SVRA and its members,” said Jim Kelly, VP’s Eastern Regional Manager-Race Fuels. “SVRA provides a great platform to build awareness of all our performance products, in particular our ethanol-free VP Vintage leaded and unleaded fuels. SVRA members have invested too much in their incredible cars to risk damage from ethanol-blended pump gas while in storage or be satisfied with suboptimal performance. VP Vintage fuels were purpose-built for this market, offering peace-of-mind as they’ll remain stable for years while in storage as well as optimize performance on the track.”
For nearly 40 years, VP Racing Fuels products have gained a reputation for superior power and consistency, fueling an ever-growing roster of champions across the entire spectrum of motorsports.
Besides its support of SVRA, VP is the Official Fuel of Tudor United SportsCar Championship, NHRA Championship Drag Racing, Rally America and AMA Supercross, among more than 60 VP-sponsored racing organizations.
